and us!

The project was amazing, a place where missionaries go for literacy education and final preparations before leaving the USA and their mission destination.  Our duties varied for the men and women and we met many fellow brothers & sisters in Christ that were either ready to go to the mission field or they were on furlough or back in the states for medical leave, etc.

Our men gutted a walk-in freezer, rewired it, put in new special walls for freezers followed by vinyl wallboard, installed a freezer unit and repaired the flooring to make it level.  They scraped, prepared and painted at least 2 outside walls of the tech center and painted one of the educational rooms upstairs.  They also replaced many outdoor window sills, prepped and painted.

Ladies purged the library, cleaned out and purged one main storage closet and one smaller one inside the bookstore, and cleaned, re-arranged and purged the food pantry/clothes pantry house.  It entailed changing out the winter to summer clothes, scrubbing shelving, throwing out dated food away and bringing in new donated items to the house and sorting.

Several mornings missionaries attended and led our devotions, what a treat.  We heard first hand experiences from the field and met many getting ready to go to the field and how they obeyed the Lord's call to go.  What a privilege it was for us indeed.

on the field.

This was a wonderful project serving missionaries, meeting them and learning about their assignments as well as their families.  Everyone who works at the Training Center raises their own support.  This was truly a humbling experience for all of us.  Thank you NTM.
