The Drive Missouri to Montana April 2018

Friday, April 20th we left New Tribes Mission in Roach MO in route to Peculiar MO to visit the Truman Library and Museum.

Saturday, April 21st we stopped at Mitchell SD at Dakota Campground with snow still on the ground and campsite not officially opened yet!  Saw the Corn Palace, even had the annual prom there that night!










Sunday, April 22nd we stopped briefly in Chamberlain SD at the visitor center to see Dignity Statue on the Missouri River. Then parked at a campground in Hermosa just below Rapid City SD.  Quick visit to Mt. Rushmore.












Monday, April 23rd we viewed the Minute Man Missle & Badlands & Wall Drug while staying just below Rapid City SD in Hermosa.  Purchased cowboy hat for Wayne and ice cream at Wall Drug.





Tuesday, April 24th we left Hermosa for Hardin MT to see Little Big Horn.  Badlands in SD.













Wednesday, April 25th we spent night in Garrison MT at Riverview RV Campground.  Ate at quaint restaurant in Avon MT. Got to wash the RV and car, all salt and snow residue, good bye, hello spring in the NW!

Thursday, April 26th we left Garrison MT for Plains MT to volunteer the month at Camp Big Horn.
