Aldersgate, Turner, OR
September 2018

An extremely busy month at Aldersgate, Turner, OR.  Working, planning for the Rally at the end of the month, playing and sightseeing with 8 super couples.

Cheri & Ulah Smith

Sue & Eldon Tiboni

Melissa & Rick Young

Vicki & Dan Greene

Feryl & Jim Laney

Lynn & Allen Manchester

Lucinda & Richard Perry

And Us!

There were many "organizational meetings" in Gail's office for the upcoming rally to be at the end of the month.
Richard & Rick putting on a new deck outside one of the cabins.

This cabin was completely gutted by the last crew before we arrived.
Our guys sheet rocked, built new bunks, replaced doors and windows, rewired and reflowed.

Allen installing new door.

Of course, the ladies painted the outside of the office building, outside of the west side of the main dorm & dining hall, and the inside of the cabin that the men were refurbishing.

Lucinda & Feryl folding loads and loads of laundry.

Then there was play time!
Visiting the Willamette Valley Pie Factory!

Then off to the retail store to taste some of that pie !

Sometimes us ladies would steal away and get our nails done!
Then Wayne and I took several weekend trips ourselves, oh yeah, Tillamook Dairy!  Yummo!

The last weekend before the Rally Wayne and I went to the Oregon Coast to view as many lighthouses as possible.
Great weekend.  Foggy but mystical.

Oregon - gorgeous state!

Working with Eric & Dan was a pleasure we will not soon forget.  They were so organized, had all the materials we needed and was always available to lead and direct.  The food was out of this world.  WE WILL BE BACK!  Our work month was over, now on to the September Rally - Western Wound Up! 2018.
