March 2019 - Texas Rally and travel to NC

March 2019 - Travel from AZ to NC via Texas Rally

Before leaving Arizona we had a few days with Evangeline and Abigail separately.  This proved to be a much more profitable visit and lots of one on one time with the girls at our RV park in Benson, AZ, Cochise Terrace.  Evangeline wanted to learn to sew so she made a pot holder to take back home.  By the end of the lesson she was sitting at the machine sewing by herself.  What a big girl, Evangeline at age 6!

A little lap time
with G'pa
makes the
trip worthwhile!

We were able to visit at John & Eleanor's
in Tucson with Evangeline also.  This was
the park in their neighborhood.

In between those 2 weekends with the girls, Gail took a few pictures around Benson of murals on the stores and various buildings.  Turns out many of these were painted by the same artist that we saw in Tucumcari, NM by the last name of Quarles.  Small world!

So, Abigail loves to cook and play with
any cooking utensils and making an
experiment out of anything!

Outside play and who cares if you spill it!

One on one with little Abigail, age 4.

A rainbow after the rain in our RV park.

East.

So proud of Evangeline.  She memorized
scripture and was in a meet at her church.
Grannie & G'pa love those scriptural
 growth moments.
The weekend before we left we helped man a booth at a Escapades Rally in Tucson.  We helped Dale & Cheryl Curtis (Left) for 2 days and one of those days Carl & Sue Williams (center) helped at the booth.  We had so many people stop by our both to ask questions about SOWERing that some helped walked away without talking to us.  Next year we need more help when we work the rally in Rock Springs, WY.

Then the Mortons' met us for dinner at
a Mexican Restaurant in Tucson.
Great food!

Being at the Rally they offered to let us host a
seminar for SOWERs.  Dale & Cheryl have led
this many times by themselves.  There were great
questions from the audience and proved to be a
profitable time for those who came.  We have since
learned that several couples have joined SOWERs
because of the Tucson Escapades Rally.

Our next stop was the March SOWER Rally
in Lindale, TX at Alert Academy.  There
were approximately 35 couples in attendance
and the Gearhardt's did a wonderful job
organizing the Rally.

At the Rally we had a wonderful speaker, Lew Sterrett with Sermon on the Mount Ministries of Miracle Mountain Ranch in Oklahoma.  He brought a lesson on breaking a horse and how it relates to how we come to accept Jesus as our Savior and let Him be Lord of our lives.

The next day one of his workers continued the lesson on using the horse after the initial breaking in session from the day before.  The horse still is a little reluctant but has not forgotten what the day before brought in his life.

Next stop for the Fieler's......
traveling to Harvest Time Bible Camp for 6 months
to be used as a SOWER on Assignment during the
construction phase of the dining hall/kitchen.

North Carolina here we come for the summer of 2019.
